iruwatch is a location monitoring service for watching over your family's safety. It works on both iPhone and Android, even for families with mixed devices.
Both iPhone and Android are supported. Unlike Apple Find My or Google Find My, iruwatch works across different operating systems.
Note: The release of the Android (Google Play) app is slightly delayed. Thank you for your patience.
Simply install the app and create an account. You can start with our free plan.
Yes, iruwatch is cross-platform. It works seamlessly for families with both iPhone and Android devices.
We've designed the app to minimize battery consumption. Update intervals vary by plan, but won't significantly impact daily usage.
An Area Alert detects when a device enters or leaves the area (geofence) around a designated point and notifies you of arrivals and departures by email or app notification. Available on paid plans. You can configure a Cooldown and assign specific devices per rule.
To show Google Maps inside the app, the map is “loaded” (displayed for the first time). What each plan caps is this number of map loads — not how long or how many times you look at the map.
See a diagram of how the “last 30 days” is counted (current location feature)
The Consecutive Count confirms an alert only after the condition has been met the set number of times in a row (1–100). This helps prevent false alerts caused by temporary fluctuations such as GPS drift.
The Cooldown suppresses further notifications for the same rule until the set amount of time has passed after a notification is sent (1–10,080 minutes). This prevents repeated notifications for the same event.
It depends on the plan. The Free and Pair plans store 31 days, the Family plan stores 90 days, and the Premium plan stores up to 365 days of location history.
Yes, you can seamlessly transfer your data and settings to a new device. Simply run "Device Replacement" from the device screen on your old phone to generate a migration code, then enter it on the new phone.
To stop using the service, open the app settings and use “Terminate Service”. This deletes the owner’s account and all of the group’s data. If you are on a paid plan, first cancel your subscription in the App Store or Google Play to avoid leaving billing active, then perform “Terminate Service” (the process cannot be completed until the cancellation is finished).
The business service is currently in preparation. Please wait a little longer until it launches.
Yes, we offer a Free plan. However, the Free plan covers only the registrant's own device — you cannot invite family members or add other devices. Data retention is 31 days, and map display is not available (latitude/longitude shown only). For family monitoring (invitations, additional devices, map display, real-time updates, etc.), a paid Pair plan or higher is required.
Yes, you can change your plan anytime. Both upgrades and downgrades can be done from within the app.
Yes, yearly plans are priced at 10 months' worth, giving you 2 months free.
Subscription management (changes, cancellation, receipts, etc.) is only possible on the platform where you originally subscribed (App Store or Google Play). If you subscribed on iPhone (App Store), you can view your account and plan on Android, but changes/cancellation must still be done via your Apple ID. To move your subscription to Android (Google Play), cancel on Apple first and then subscribe fresh on Android. Contact us for details.
How you delete your account depends on your role. The owner (administrator) who first created the group can delete the entire group’s accounts by opening the app settings and using “Terminate Service”. Members (general user role) invited from the user management screen can leave the group and delete their own account by choosing “Delete Account” in the settings (this action cannot be undone). Members of a business service cannot delete their account themselves; the owner or an administrator deletes them from the management screen.
When the owner uses “Terminate Service”, the account is deleted and deletion of the group’s data begins at the same time. Once the process is complete, the account is immediately deactivated, and after a certain period we anonymize personal information and permanently delete data such as location, movement history, and alert settings. Note that some records that must be retained by law or for tax purposes are deleted after the prescribed retention period.
First, please check that the location permission is set correctly on the device.
Please try restarting the app. If the issue persists, run "Device Replacement" from the device screen.
Please check that you are using the correct Apple or Google account. You need to sign in with the same account you used when you registered.
To use iruwatch as a member, an invitation from the owner account is required. Please ask the owner to send a member invitation from the user management screen.
