This adds the phone (device) you want to watch over to your group. Just join with the invite code issued in the app—3 easy steps and location sharing starts right away.
On the device you want to watch over, download the app from the App Store / Google Play and choose “Add device.” No login required.
The owner performs the add-device action in the app to issue a 6-digit invite code.
Enter the 6-digit invite code on the device, and it joins the group—location sharing begins.
This invites a family member as a “user” of your watch-over group. Send an invite by email and simply sign in with an Apple / Google account—join in 3 easy steps.
In the app’s “Invite member,” the owner enters the email address of the family member to invite and sends the invitation. The invitation link expires to prevent unauthorized access by third parties.
Open the link in the email the invited family member receives in a web browser. Installing the app is optional—you can join without it.
Sign in with your usual Apple / Google account to join as a “user” and view your family’s location and more. Viewing works from both the app and a web browser.
